MUFON Meltdown!

Our story begins with an
innocent enough *invitation to Mr. Clifford Clift, the International Director MUFON, to investigate the Billy Meier UFO contact case and
to be interviewed and comment upon it on my radio show.
My invitation included these
two paragraphs (emphasis added):
“I invite you and MUFON to
embark on a rigorous examination of the Meier case and to take a firm stand
based on your conclusions. After all, it's either the biggest, most
impenetrable hoax...or the most important story in human history. I will be
more than glad to assist in this process by answering questions, challenges, referring to evidence, etc.”
“So I reiterate my
invitation to you and MUFON:
I invite you and
MUFON to embark on a rigorous
examination of the Meier case and to take a firm stand based on your
conclusions. After all, it's either the biggest, most impenetrable hoax...or
the most important story in human history. I will be more than glad to assist
in this process by answering
questions, challenges, referring to evidence, etc.”
I followed up with more
information for Mr. Clift:
“In case for some reason
you are not familiar with Billy Meier's stunningly clear, authenticated UFO
photos and films, I am including a sampling below, followed by some links to
excellent film and video footage. This should help you and MUFON in your
research:…
“...and yes, all of this evidence and information
has been freely available to MUFON for decades. But the important thing is that you now have the opportunity to examine it throughout MUFON and come to an informed conclusion”
When I received no response
to my two emails to Mr. Clift, I called MUFON and was put in touch with Mark
Easter, Director of Public Relations and Certified Field Investigator for MUFON.
Shortly thereafter, I received a definitive, and not at all surprising,
response from Mr. Easter:
“Since to date there has not
been an official MUFON sanctioned investigation of the claims of Billy Meier,
the MUFON Board of Directors respectfully decline your request to participate
in a radio interview where the sole topic of the interview would be the Billy
Meier case.”
…I responded to him and
expressed my disdain for MUFON’s position. Then published a press release.
Following the
dissemination of both my email correspondence and press release through Victor
Martinez’ online forum, a series of exchanges brought forth some interesting
revelations.
Suddenly the
non-responsive Mr. Clift…responded to Victor (emphasis added):
“I do want to explain MUFON's
position on the Billy Meier case. The reason
what we
are about.
It is a
pretty big stretch to say "we (MUFON) doesn't want to investigate".
Of course, as you saw from
my initiatory email, I invited just such an investigation, twice. And I am Meier’s authorized U.S. representative (as
my signature also shows).
I continued to toss some
barbs in the form of documentation showing that – despite being inexplicably unknown to the current International
Director of MUFON – they had indeed actively opposed and attacked the Meier case, as far back as
the 1980s, even championing the disgraced, delusional, disinformation agent Kal
Korff and his deceitful attacks on Meier. (Korff was a protégé of another
apparent disinformation agent, William Moore.) As de facto evidence of MUFON’s
clearly negative agenda towards the Meier case, they (to their credit) included
a two-part response from Wendelle Stevens in their Journal in 1981.
Further documentation I
provided indicated that MUFON was not pleased that it
couldn’t have taken possession of the Meier evidence.
Then, in what appears to
be an impulsive gesture, Susan Swiatek, the
“If your
brain can't INSTANTLY see that the Meier videos are fake, then there is no hope
for you.
You are
not intelligent.
You are
a complete fool.
I'd love
to see your SAT scores.
Period.”
Naturally, I myself found
it irresistible to provide Ms. Swiatek with a little documentation so that she
could see that, rather than being a “fool”, Victor and many others were in
rather good company in
their assessment of the authenticity of Meier’s evidence.
I should add that my
initial approach to MUFON was not based on their reputation as a particularly competent investigative organization. But more interesting
documentation from the Meier case shows that he was actually pre-warned about MUFON…some 16 years before it came into existence! Meier had a further, brief discussion about MUFON and
similar entities in 1995.
What we are presented with
is incontrovertible proof of MUFON’s own incompetence, suspect investigative
procedures and, ultimately, underlying agenda when it comes to discussing the
one and only, scientifically
proven, still ongoing UFO contact case, Meier’s.
Further information seems
to indicate that MUFON has had some government, i.e. FBI, (and perhaps CIA and NASA
related individuals) in its corporate ranks. Coincidentally, perhaps, all of
this is coming to light at the same time that numerous UFO sightings are being
lavishly covered in the mainstream press, the same corporate media that simply can’t allow any utterance of the Meier case, unless to attack and deride it.
Seeing the meltdown of
MUFON, having them reveal themselves as an organized farce and noting that they
were supporters of the defamer and disinformation agent, Kal Korff, should be a
sobering experience for all those who thought that simply stringing a bunch of
capital letters together automatically signified credibility.
Pathetically little, if anything, of real value has come out of an organization that focuses on chasing lights-in-the-sky, and misdirecting people away from the only scientifically proven, still ongoing UFO contact case. As I’ve stated many times, with few exceptions, the people most concerned with UFOs, “alien abductions” and other nonsense like “extraterrestrials walking among us”, will probably be the among the last to realize the truth. Hopefully, the “UFO community” will take a good penetrating look into how badly they’ve been misled and finally wake up.
NOTE: There are some notable exceptions to the MUFON dilemma. Two chapters in the Los Angeles area have hosted presentations on the case. And George A. Filer, who is the MUFON Eastern Region Director, has kindly disseminated information on the authenticity of the Meier case.

I am the
representative for the Billy Meier case in the U.S. and I thought I'd introduce
myself...and somethings for you to consider about the case itself. So you'll
know what my intention is, allow me to state what would normally be the
conclusion to this message first:

Now, I'll "back
up" a bit and lay some groundwork. You may be aware that Meier's UFO
evidence remains the most abundant, best and clearest of all and is still
irreproducible. His first photos were taken in India, in 1964, and a major
witness to those events, Phobol Cheng, is a highly credible retired UN
diplomat.
I suggest that if extraterrestrials are indeed visiting the
Earth in UFOs, then there has to be a reason for it. And I am quite sure that the
reason isn't to
give people lights in the sky to chase after...nor to provide
"careers" for speakers, myself included.
Actually, the reason
is to help the human beings of Earth to assure our own future survival by
warning us of specific dangers that we face...and how to avoid them. Meier
first began publishing this information in 1951, then in 1958. As you can see, a significant number of
forewarned events have already occurred, unfortunately.
If the field of UFO
study is to evolve into something truly relevant then we will have to
understand that the real cover-up is about the Meier case. Outrageous as this
may seem to many in the "UFO community", plain reason tells us that
there will never be
anything of significance revealed about Roswell, or any of the other
crashes/retrievals and, in truth, the so-called "government" actually
knows little about them.
But we don't need the
government or any "experts" to easily determine both the authenticity
and importance of the Meier case for ourselves. One read through this
ever-expanding compilation of corroboration for Meier's
scientific and other information will convince the objective, scientifically
minded thinker of it immediately.
We are truly at a
major crossroads in our world - environmentally, politically, etc. The old ways
of doing things must yield to the new, and hopefully better, way. Likewise, the
pursuit of the truth regarding the UFO matter must now turn to that stubborn
"elephant in the room" and to a very long overdue examination of it.
So I reiterate my
invitation to you and MUFON:
I invite you and MUFON
to embark on a rigorous examination of the Meier case and to take a firm stand
based on your conclusions. After all, it's either the biggest, most
impenetrable hoax...or the most important story in human history. I will be

I hope that no one
really thought that MUFON was anything but part of the disinformation campaign
against the Meier contacts (the subject of the REAL cover-up).
With some exceptions,
the people in the UFO community will be among the last to figure out how
they've been duped, how a carefully orchestrated campaign to discredit the
Meier case began decades ago, how the demonization of "aliens" began
under U.S. direction (http://www.theyfly.com/newsflash/newsflash.htm#US).
It's nice though that
MUFON took the bait, er, rose to the occasion, etc. And isn't it interesting
how many UFO sightings are suddenly BEING COVERED in the news? Watch out, don't
drink the stupid juice.
